Tonite Was The Night...

A Festivus, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Solstice, Holiday Get-together Blogger Story:

After the Mothership landed in Berry Hill off Thompson Lane, during the time of Nashville Is Talking, bloggers [*] from the east, west, north, south and left of center came to Columbine Place. (* Footnote: Traditionally Wise Guys).

Then CeeElCee called the Funkenswine secretly and found out from them the exact time the party was to appeared. When WonderDawg realized that he had been ringmastered by the Funkenswine, the House of Woo was happy, and he gave a decree to the Queen Brittney of KRN to Evite all the bloggers in Berry Hill and its far flunged vicinity who were aggregated, two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Funkenswine.

And when they came from far away lands into the Mothership, the gifts they brought -- dog food, cat food and bottled refreshments, they saw the BBQ buffet with Milo the help, and chowed down, and made merry laughter, fuzzy pictures and festive talk . . . and all was well.

[*] funny, left, right, personable

Kerry, thanks so much to you (and Jim) for putting this together. It was a lot of fun! I just can't get over how patient all the spouses were with the rest of us! But then again, it's festivus. I only say that so it would rhyme. :)

Lynnster, we'll see you and those west of the Tennessee River next time OK? I did leave out the more risque shots, as this blog doesn't want to hold back anyone in search of a paying paying job with questionable poses!

Kathy T, we appreciate you sitting down with the Mrs. & I and sharing your Wrinkles stories. Very inspiring indeed and good writing as well.

Ivy, thanks for letting your hair down! and making the party festive!

Kate O' - I keep calling you Jamie, because you look like a Jamie we know in NC; I like your enthusiam and was happy to snap a photo in focus - stay classy as Ron Burgundy would say!

Sista does look cool in that photo - I'm kinda proud of the photo as it looks like an album cover with Sista as the lead singer and guitarist, Slartibartfast as the drummer, Hutch as bassist and let's make Aunt B the keyboard player.

John, the professional thumb in the photo looks artsy! Thumbs up to you for your friendship.

What a great time - thanks to all for welcoming Mrs. WonderDawg in the fold. I'm remember this event long after the head cold medication wears off.
