Day 16 of 100 blogs in 100 days

On day 16 of visiting 100 blogs in 100 days, I decided to stop in and take some culinary lessons. Its been a while since I've taken a gastronomy class or even learned something new since The Frugal Gourmet taught me to make a perfect omelet. And Emeril keeps screaming at me; Martha's doing something else and my wife won't let me eat two slabs of ribs anymore, so grilling shows are out... HOWEVER, the The Amateur Gourmet caught my attention when he asked three great questions that demanded great answers -

Are you sick of competency?

Of food blogs run by competent people with flawless track records and no history of salmonella?

Are you tired of not having salmonella?

You've come to the right place.

I'm The Amateur Gourmet: a completely untrained, unaccomplished culinary lout with absolutely no expertise in anything having to do with food. I have an immature palate, an understocked pantry and a penchant for purchasing food that's already been prepared. In my defense, I watch Martha Stewart religiously.
Perfect! I'm telling you if you enjoy preparing great meals, mixing humor with food prep, lots of photos, podcasts, local restaurant reviews, cheesy songs and not having to worry about the Health Department busting you for having dogs in the privacy of your own kitchen (pets - Chinese people do not eat cats and dogs - where do these rumors get started?!?!?), then hang out at this blog and elevate your love of gastronomy (food) -- trust me, you heard it here one year late -- Adam Roberts, The Amateur Gourmet -- despite wearing glasses (like me) -- will be an internet phenomenon!

Pull out your grandmother's hairnet, wash your hands and lets make some Janet Jackson breast cupcakes for Sunday's NFL shindig...
