Wow, to pull into my driveway and see a quarter moon with a bright star underneath... takes my breath away.

That's Venus. Take a look at it through binoculars and you'll see it's a disc, not a point.
Not trying to be a smart alec. Just educating the masses.
I learn something new everyday - thanks - I'll take a peek through some binoculars tonight - after American Idol.
