Passion06 gathers in Nashville

The Go Center, located in the Nashville Convention Center - where students can find out about missions opportunities and resources

Below are four images from the Passion06 conference going on downtown at the GEC and various late night locations downtown thru Thursday. Nearly 18,000 college students passionate about their faith and Jesus Christ are gathered here in Nashville. I had the honor to meet and welcome students arriving today from Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico as they arrived enmass via church vans and tour busses into my post at one of the Vanderbilt hotels. More postings to come later tomorrow.
The unique purpose of Passion is to gather college students from campuses and churches across the nation, uniting them across ministry and denominational lines to seek the face of God together in worship and prayer. Affirming and valuing the work of local churches and campus ministries, Passion seeks to foster unity and connectivity among them, encouraging them to draw strength and encouragement from each other, resulting in a louder anthem of God's renown.
